On April 3, 2020, thirteen Mount Airy Middle School students participated in the Northwest Regional Virtual History Day Contest. Each of these participants researched a historical topic around the theme of “Breaking Barriers”.

She advances to the National History Day contest. This contest will be held virtually June 14 - 20.
Abby Moser finished third in the state for her paper, “Suffering for Suffrage.”
Abby Moser received a special award at the state level for Best Women's History topic.
